Anor Terms of Use

1. Who can use Anor

You must be 18 years or older to use Anor. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this age requirement. If we learn you’re under 18, we will delete your account.

You agree to provide accurate information when you sign up and to keep your account info current.

2. Your account

• You may only create one account.
• You may not impersonate another person, create an account for someone else without their permission, or use automated software to control the account.
• You are responsible for all activity that happens through your account. Protect your sign-in email — losing access to it means losing access to your Anor account.

3. Acceptable behavior

By using Anor, you agree NOT to:

• Harass, threaten, intimidate, or stalk any other user.
• Post or send hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, or illegal content.
• Send unsolicited commercial messages, spam, or scams.
• Impersonate any person, business, or organization.
• Use Anor to facilitate illegal activity or violations of others’ rights.
• Attempt to extract data from Anor in bulk, reverse-engineer the app, bypass security features, or access systems you’re not authorized to.
• Use Anor to gather location data on others outside the in-app experience.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for any violation of these rules — see Section 6.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you post (profile photos, bio, messages, venue tags). By posting content, you grant Anor a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and transmit that content for the sole purpose of operating the app. We do not sell your content. We do not use your content in marketing materials without your specific consent.

5. Your privacy

How we collect, use, and share your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms. By using Anor, you agree to that policy.

6. Termination

You may delete your Anor account at any time via Settings → Delete account. When you do, all your data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days (some data may persist briefly in backups).

We may suspend or terminate your access if you:

• Violate these Terms.
• Are reported repeatedly by other users for harassment, abuse, or unsafe behavior.
• Engage in activity we reasonably believe puts other users at risk.

We will try to give you notice when practical, but we may act immediately if delay would create risk.

7. No warranty

Anor is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that the app will be available, accurate, or error-free. We do not guarantee that you will meet anyone, have a good experience, or be safe in your interactions with other users. You are responsible for your own safety when meeting people in person.

We do not verify the identity of other users beyond what they provide voluntarily. Treat everyone you meet through Anor with appropriate caution.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anor and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including damages from interactions with other users (online or in person), loss of data, or service interruptions.

Total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Anor will not exceed the greater of (a) $50 USD or (b) the amount you have paid Anor in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Anor against claims arising from your violation of these Terms or your interactions with other users.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, unless required otherwise by law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms over time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms. If you don’t agree with a change, you may delete your account.
